Limited Modified class added to ASCS Sprint Car Shootout at Royal Purple Raceway

Ladies Night at the Speedway, Saturday, August 11^th

Officials at Royal Purple Raceway confirmed the addition of the Limited Modified class with a $1,000 winner’s prize to the ASCS Sprint Car Shootout, scheduled for Saturday, August 11^th.  The on track action will also feature the ASCS Sprints and the ASCS II mini sprints. 

“We have a great lineup of Sprint cars for our race fans and the Limited Modifieds will only enhance the on track action for everybody,” said Seth Angel, Royal Purple Raceway General Manager.  “This is also a great opportunity for area Limited Modified racers to get quality track time on our Speedway before the Texas Grand returns in November.” 

The ASCS Sprint Car Shootout is also being billed as “Ladies Night at the Speedway.”  Spectator admission will be FREE to Ladies and also to Kids 12 & under with an adult.  General admission seating is only $15 if purchased in advance or $18 at the gate.  In addition, the track concessions will be selling hot dogs and cokes for just $1 each.  Parking for this event will be FREE as well.  Detailed event information can be found by clicking here.

The Speedway at Royal Purple Raceway consists of a professional-level quarter-mile high-banked dirt oval track on a 450 acre site. With permanent seating for 7,500 fans, 14 luxury corporate suites, and on-site parking for all of its events, the facility is one of the premier dirt racing destinations in the south.

Limited Modified Payout Information:

Limited's $1000 to win and $150.00 to start. There will be a $50 entry fee. Top points winners between GTRP on Friday and Royal Purple Raceway on Saturday will received the following bonus: 1st $250, 2nd $100, 3rd $50. The full payout is as follows: 1st $1000, 2nd $500, 3rd $400, 4th $250, 5th $200, 6th - 20th $150
